Beaver Creek County Park
Park office: 17863 Beaver Creek Rd | Havre, MT 59501
Amenities
Beaver Creek Park is part of the Bears Paw Mountains, a unique part of central Montana perfect for stargazing. About one mile wide and 17 miles long, this is the largest county park in the nation, with rolling grasslands, pine woods, aspen and cottonwood groves, rocky cliffs, cold streams and two lakes—an excellent place to stare at the cosmos by night and play by day. Look for signage for designated dark-sky viewing areas, as well as interpretive panels highlighting the flora, fauna and history of the area.
